Vismec coupling stations
Coupling stations are found in central transport systems and act as a central point for controlling, distributing and transporting raw materials. It ensures that the raw materials are distributed and transported in an organized manner. This allows a machine to be easily coupled with different types of raw materials.
There are 3 types of coupling stations:
- Manual coupling stations
- Semi-manual coupling stations
- Automatic coupling stations
Manual coupling stations
A manual coupling station consists of a frame with a tube with branches per material type. On each branch there is a connection to make the desired connection between the materials and the machines. Above the coupling station hang the machine pipes and these can be connected to any desired material by means of a flexible hose.
- Available in any desired size and number of connections
- Solid frame in high-quality coating
- Equipped with color coding and name tags to minimize errors
- Can be implemented with different types of couplings
- Can be supplied with hardened bends for abrasive materials
Semi-manual coupling stations
A semi-manual coupling station works in the same way as a manual coupling station, but with RFID (Radio-frequency identification). This is a technology where the couplings must first be registered before the coupling can be made. If an incorrect coupling is made, the system will see this and will not work and will give an alarm. Production can only start when the correct machine is connected to the correct material.
- Available in any desired size and number of connections
- Solid frame in high-quality coating
- Equipped with color coding and name tags to minimize errors
- Can be supplied with hardened bends for abrasive materials
- Minimal chance of errors due to incorrect operator connection
Automatic coupling stations
An automatic coupling station ensures that the coupling between the right material and the right machines is automatic. The operator can set the raw materials and machines via the Vismec server or via the Vismec supervisor system by means of a computer/tablet or telephone and the automatic coupling station then ensures the right coupling at the right time.
- Solid design with heavy duty industrial stepper motors and encoders
- Minimum surface area and height required
- No vacuum loss due to special couplings and seals
- Wear-resistant hardened materials against abrasive raw materials
- High flexibility and easier material change
- Additional cleaning function to prevent contamination
- Minimal chance of errors due to incorrect operator connection
Fishmec
Founded in 2007 with a clear vision, Vismec has grown into a respected player in the market. This growth is the result of dedication, sustainability and a strong focus on customer focus. Today, the company has 50 dedicated employees and over 10,000 square meters of workshop space.
Vismec's focus is on quality which has resulted in an annual sales of over 1,000 dryers. These high-quality dryers are distributed worldwide, where currently over 15,000 Vismec dryers are in operation in the European market, making Vismec a renowned player in the industry.
The name Vismec comes from “VIS” which in Latin means excellence, strong and power. MEC stands for mechanical. At Vismec we believe that efficiency, research and results are in our DNA.
