Mesutronic metal detection systems
Metal detection systems are used to prevent damage to machines. In addition to ferrous metals, metal detection also removes non-ferrous metals from the production process. This can include metal, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
Mesutronic metal detection systems are easy to install, solidly constructed, very accurate and a wide variety of models are available. The desired sensitivity and the opening time of the (changeover) valve can also be set.

Metal detection conveyor belts
The Mesutronic Metron is a metal detection system that can be integrated into a conveyor belt. Should the material on the conveyor belt contain ferrous or non-ferrous metal, the detection system will ensure that the conveyor belt stops and an alarm will sound.
Metal detection raw material transport via pipelines
The Mesutronic P-tron is a metal detection system that is integrated into the piping used to transport raw materials. When the system detects ferrous or non-ferrous metals, a valve opens briefly a little further on and a small amount of raw material with the metal in question falls through. The valve then closes again and the transport continues. This system is available in both a horizontal and vertical version.
Metal detection raw material transport free fall
The Mesutronic Plastron or Quicktron is used in situations where raw materials flow downwards in a free fall. For example, it is mounted on the inlet of an injection molding machine or extruder.
When the system detects ferrous or non-ferrous metals, a diverter valve will move briefly and a small amount of raw material with the metal in question will fall through a side channel. The valve will then return to its old position and the transport will continue.
