Magnets
To prevent damage to machines by ferrous metals, magnets are used. There are different types of magnets that are used in different ways. In addition, there is a choice of ferrite (ceramic) magnets that are well suited for outdoor use (rust-resistant) and that have a temperature range of up to 250°C or neodymium magnets that are many times more powerful but have a maximum temperature range of 80°C.

SchirpMAG tube magnets
These tube magnets from SchirpMAG are very strong and can easily be clamped around a suction tube on a material line. Because the SchripMAG magnets are so strong, steel residues stick to the inside of the line. When the magnet is disconnected during maintenance, the steel residues fall out and can easily be collected.
Funnel magnets
These magnets are round or square and can be placed in the funnel of a loader. When material falls through, steel residues will stick to the magnet. These funnel magnets are available in different sizes and strengths.
Magnetic drawers
Magnetic drawers are a neck piece where the magnet is in a separate frame and can be slid in and out. Here too, the material sinks through the neck piece with magnet and the steel residues will remain on the magnet. The magnetic drawer is easy to disassemble and assemble.
